When we say next generation of technology, we mean it. Our entire suite of products is backed by the latest and greatest in web technologies. Your business can grow in an instant and your technology provider should not hinder that growth. The following technology implementations provide the four main cornerstones of a software application in the mortgage industry: Ability to integrate with other systems (.NET); A database that can handle millions of fields of data (SQL); A level of compliance that is industry standard (SAS Type II Hosted); and the Information Security required when dealing with private borrower and loan data (256-bit SSL). Priceweaver prides itself in using the most robust development tools in the industry and passing that onto our customers in the most affordable way possible.

SAS 70 provides guidance to service auditors when assessing the internal controls of a service organization and issuing a service auditor’s report. SAS 70 also provides guidance to auditors of financial statements of an entity that uses one or more service organizations. Service organizations are typically entities that provide outsourcing services that impact the control environment of their customers. Examples of service organizations are insurance and medical claims processors, trust companies, hosted data centers, application service providers (ASPs), managed security providers, credit processing organizations and clearinghouses.

When an SSL handshake occurs between a client and server, a level of encryption is determined by the Web browser, the client computer operating system, and the SSL Certificate. Strong encryption, at 128 bits, can calculate 288 times as many combinations as 40-bit encryption. That’s over a trillion times a trillion times stronger. At current computing speeds, a hacker with the time, tools, and motivation to attack using brute force would require a trillion years to break into a session protected by an SGC-enabled certificate. The Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) enables 256-bit encryption, much stronger than 128-bit.
